Pixel 3 could be worth ignoring if the Google Pixel 4 looks this good – Express

Google Pixel 3 debuted back in October and built on the solid foundation laid by its predecessor.

As is typical with the product line, the standard Google Pixel 3 is the smaller of the two product models while the Pixel 3 XL offers a larger display and battery for Android fans.

Since its inception, the Pixel line has been incredibly appealing for its software and camera.

The Pixel 3 is no different; the device runs Google’s version of Android and will receive new versions of the operating system before handsets from third-party manufacturers.

Additionally, the device also has arguably the best main camera on any smartphone thanks to its combination of great hardware with Google’s clever software.

Although the Pixel 3 has a number of features that make it appealing, its design is certainly not industry leading.

That is because both the standard Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL come with noticeable bezels with the latter also having one of the most controversial notches on any smartphone around.

It is expected Google will trim bezels further on its next smartphone, the presumably titled Pixel 4.

All previous Pixel devices have debuted in October and it is presumed the Pixel 4 will be no different in this regard.

Phone Designer recently put together concept renders of the Google Pixel 4 and posted them on Twitter.

Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL were displayed with new all-screen designs.

However, each had a cutout within their respective displays for a front-facing camera system.

The rear of the product was showcased to look incredibly similar to the current Pixel 3.

However, no physical fingerprint sensor was present on the phone’s back panel, suggesting Phone Designer believes the next Google flagship could embed a scanner underneath its display.

In the concept, the Pixel 4 XL was displayed boasting a dual-camera system on both its front and rear.

Meanwhile, the standard Pixel 4 was displayed with a single camera sensor on its front and back panel.

While the photos certainly provide a tantalising glimpse into how the Pixel 4 could look when it debuts later this year, it is worth emphasising they are concept renders.

This means when the Pixel 4 does release, it could look starkly different.
