Quarterback strikes content deal with Outdoor Sportsman Group for original content.
Carson Wentz, who plays quarterback for National Football League (NFL) side, the Philadelphia Eagles, has agreed a partnership with Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG).
The deal, which includes Wentz’s brother Zach, will see the outdoors media group create the network’s first digital original series, ‘Wentz Bros Outdoors’.
The content will be available on OutdoorChannel.com, and will “showcase the outdoor lifestyle activities of one of the NFL’s rising young stars”. Wentz is described as a “passionate outdoorsman”, and the series will include short video vignettes of hunting, fishing and shooting experiences.
The episodes will air for 16 weeks, beginning on 5th June and ending in September.
Jim Liberatore, president and chief executive of OSG, said: “Carson and Zach are passionate about sharing their love of hunting and the outdoors – almost as much as their other Sunday sporting pursuits!”
