Melbourne: One dead after shooting outside nightclub – Sky News


One person has died and one other is in a critical condition after a shooting outside a Melbourne nightclub in Australia.

A 37-year-old from Narre Warren South passed away in hospital from his injuries.

According to Victoria Police, the incident took place at the Love Machine nightclub in Prahran – just outside the city, at 3.20am local time. (5.20pm GMT)

Three other people were taken to hospital following the incident, with a 28-year-old man remaining in a critical condition.

Two men, 29 and 50, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Three of the victims were security guards who were working at the time.

Police are investigating reports that a black Porsche SUV was involved in the shooting, which was found burnt out in Wollert, north of Melbourne.

Detectives and police are at the scene and no arrests have been made.
