Mamta Mohandas: It’s important to make good cinema and keep fantasy alive too


Mamta Mohandas’ upcoming movie Neeli is her first attempt at a horror comedy. She is also part of Jenuse Mohammed’s sci-fi thriller 9. The actress, who was also part of Carbon earlier this year, says she believes “it’s very important to make good cinema and keep fantasy alive as well”. “I am a person who gets fascinated by a Disney movie or something like that because it keeps fantasy alive. It’s like the little kids in the US who really believe till a certain age that Santa Claus is real. After all, cinema is make believe,” she says.
