The Mahoning County District Board of Health is holding flu shot clinics at various locations around the valley this week.
The clinics will be held at the following locations:

Anyone is welcome at these clinics and no appointment is necessary. The district board of health will bill insurance and people will need to bring insurance cards, driver’s license, Medicaid and Medicare cards. The flu vaccine is free with proof of insurance.
Flu vaccines are available for children ages 6 months and up, adults ages 65 and older and ages 2 years to 49 years. The nasal spray vaccine will be available in limited quantities.
The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine every season. People at high risk of developing flu-related complications include children ages 6 months to 2 years old, adults 65 and older, pregnant women and women up to 2 weeks postpartum, residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities and those with chronic medical conditions.
