Floridians are passionate about their politics — at least according to a new study by custom sign maker ShieldCo.
Residents of the Sunshine State would travel 6.1 hours from home to protest for an issue or cause they believe in, according to the study titled, “Travelling for a Cause.”
The national average is 5.5 hours.
Residents of Wyoming displayed the greatest willingness to travel for a cause: up to 18.3 hours.
The study also found:
- 73 percent of Americans are confident protesting works.
- 1 in 3 people would not protest if the weather was bad.
Regarding the latter, those of us in the Sunshine State can rarely use weather as an excuse.
