Fashion Friday: Meet Stephanie Robb, shop owner, jewelry designer – Buffalo News


Name: Stephanie Robb, 61

Who she is: Jewelry designer and owner of Turnstyle Designs, a boutique specializing in women’s apparel (including American-made brands), accessories and aromatherapy products at 298 Ashland Ave. (at Lexington Avenue). Co-owner of the nearby  Wild Things, a shop featuring handmade artisan jewelry, ceramics, prints and more, 224 Lexington Ave. The Buffalo native taught dance for more than 20 years and danced professionally with Buffalo-based Pick of the Crop Dance. She lives in Allentown and enjoys yoga, bicycling and hiking. You can follow her on Instagram @stephanierobbjewelry.

What she’s wearing: Black top with overlay by Last Tango and light-wash jeans from Unpublished – both from her boutique; a necklace she designed with a Jasper pendant and wire work detailing; coin pearl earrings, also her design, and boots by Cydwoq (pronounced “Sidewalk”) she bought in Portsmouth, N.H.

Signature look: “My uniform is jeans and a nice shirt,” she said.

Fashion statement: “I like it to be easy and comfortable. I want to feel confident and present that confidence in what I’m wearing and how I’m presenting myself to the world.”

Last purchase:  Wide-leg jeans.

In the market for: “A pair of white jeans,” she said. Once spring arrives, “all of a sudden you want something bright.”
