Deadwood gaming revenue up for October


The trend of positive Deadwood gaming numbers continues with the latest figures released by the South Dakota Commission on Gaming.

The total gaming handle for October of this year was up more than 12 percent compared to October of last year.
The table game handle for October was down a bit from last year, but the slot machine handle was up more than 13 percent from a year ago.
For the year to date, 2018 gaming revenues are up 1.28 percent compared to this point last year.
In a release, Deadwood Gaming Association executive director Mike Rodman said, “Another positive month for Deadwood gaming numbers brings us a step closer to our first positive year in quite some time.”
