Writer Irvine Welsh has paid tribute to his “amazing” friend Bradley Welsh after the Trainspotting 2 star was shot dead in Edinburgh.
The actor, who also appeared in an episode of Danny Dyer’s Deadliest Men, died following a shooting in the city’s Chester Street on Wednesday evening.

Bradley Welsh visits the Sick Kids Foundation in 2014 to hand over 42,500 pounds he raised from sparring in the boxing ring for 24 hours. The money was used to purchase computers with special screens with eye recognition for children with disabilities who are unable to speak.
