Bears rookie WR Javon Wims active; Prince Amukamara out as expected against Buccaneers

The Bears secondary will be short-handed as they try to slow the Buccaneers’ hot offense Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field.

Bears cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper are both inactive as expected because they are recovering from hamstring injuries. Wide receiver Anthony Miller is out as he recovers from a dislocated left shoulder.

Outside linebackers Isaiah Irving and Kylie Fitts, offensive lineman Rashaad Coward and defensive lineman Nick Williams are healthy scratches.

The Bears could decide to use Bryce Callahan to fill in for Amukamara in their base defense and use rookie Kevin Toliver on the outside in their nickel defense when Callahan plays in the slot.
