Bears cornerbacks Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper are both inactive as expected because they are recovering from hamstring injuries. Wide receiver Anthony Miller is out as he recovers from a dislocated left shoulder.
Coach Matt Nagy said Josh Bellamy was among the receivers who could see more time as a slot receiver with Miller out.
Rookie wide receiver Javon Wims is active for the first time this season, as is safety DeAndre Houston-Carson, who missed the first three games with a broken forearm.
Behind veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is expected to start again Sunday over Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers are averaging an NFL-best 400.7 passing yards per game. Winston returned this week from a three-game suspension for allegedly groping an Uber driver, but the Buccaneers are expected to stick with Fitzpatrick to start Sunday’s game.
As for the potential of getting the Bears offense going, the Bucs are down two safeties. They placed Chris Conte on injured reserve with a knee injury on Tuesday, and Jordan Whitehead is inactive with shoulder and hamstring injuries.
