The Princeton Antique Auto Show and Antique Auto Museum Historical Slide Show & Talk will be held on Saturday, June 16, at 194 Worcester Road, Princeton, (site of the old antique auto museum).
As part of the Princeton Historical Society educational programs offered to the public, the society is conducting a talk and slide presentation, which will document the history of the Princeton Antique Auto Museum from 1935 to 1962. There will be a variety of makes and models from that era. The schedule for the day is as follows: 8 a.m. – antique auto owners arrive and set up; 9 a.m. auto show opens and public is encourage to judge the vehicles; 10 a.m. – Historical Slide Show and Talk begins – limited seating to 45 people; noon – lunch – North American Catering Company food truck; 12:30 p.m. – ballots are collected and tabulated; 12:50 p.m. – prizes are awarded 1 p.m. – repeat of Historical Slide Show and Talk begins; 2:30 to 3 p.m. – Antique Auto Parade through Princeton Center toward Mt. Wachusett commemorating Al Garganigo’s Annual 4th of July Antique Auto Race to the Summit of Mt. Wachusett. The public and antique auto owners will be asked to make a donation to support the cost of this event. The North American Catering Company will have a food truck on site from 9 to 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Princeton Historical Society. Rain date, June 17.
Some of the vintage cars on display at the show will include a 1909 Pierce Arrow, 1917 Dodge Brothers, 1924 Rolin Coupe, 1927 American Rolls-Royce, 1930 Cadillac Roadster, 1930 Ford Pickup, 1934 Hudson Convertible Coupe.
